Grants and Sponsorships in Canada

In Canada, Weyerhaeuser administers a corporate giving program to improve the quality of life in communities and regions where Weyerhaeuser has a major presence. This program is separate from the Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation, which administers the giving program in the United States.

In 2005 to 2007, Weyerhaeuser invested more than CAN$3 million in hundreds of worthwhile projects and programs in communities across Canada. In addition to community giving, Weyerhaeuser funds research and education that help foster public understanding of the forest products industry.
