We have more independent outside directors than is required, with 11 out of 13 independents on our board, or 84.6 percent.
Rt. Hon. Donald F. Mazankowski, a director of the company since 1997, is a business consultant. He was a Member of Parliament, Government of Canada, from 1968 to 1993, served as Deputy Prime Minister from 1986 to 1993 and as Minister of Finance from 1991 to 1993. He also is a director of the Power Group of Companies; Shaw Communications, Inc.; Great-West Lifeco Inc., IGM Financial Inc.; Yellow Pages Group; Canadian Oil Sand Trust and Atco Ltd.
